Sun Myung Moon: "Man of Peace"

Sun Myung Moon is called by many a "Cult Leader", and yet more and more world leaders see him a "Man of Peace". In his life he encountered so much persecution, misunderstanding, mistreatment and few incarcerations, yet this man never gave up. Today his fruits show that his heart and his mind, all he did were only dedicated for the liberation of God and for the salvation of Humanity.




One Family Under God

Sun Myung Moon mission is to create a world of peace. A peace that can enjoy prosperity, equality, world beyond race, culture and denomination. Rev.Moon says, Ultimately, the problems afflicting humanity can only be resolved through the worldview of One Family under God, in other words, the ideology based on True Love, which my wife and I, the True Parents, have learned from Heaven and have championed and taught throughout our lives. This is the only way for humankind to find the path toward peace and happiness.


Called by God through Jesus


In his lifelong journey to build a world of peace Rev. Sun Myung Moon humbly says, Even now, I am filled with love that I have not yet been able to give. It is a prayer that this love will become river of Peace saturating the drought-stricken land and flowing to the ends of the earth that I now place this book before the world. Recently, a growing number of people have been seeking to know about me. For the sake of those who are curious I have looked back on my life and recorded my candid recollections in this book entitled "As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen".



When I first met Rev. Moon, I already had an established reputation as a theologian and an historian of religion whose works had been translated into a number of foreign languages. My views on theology were and remain very different than his. Rev. Moon always treated me with sophisticated understanding and very great courtesy.
